The officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to an Oak Lane home at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, where there was a report of a suspicious man who was spotted in the driveway approximately an hour earlier.

According to police, surveillance video showed that a light-skinned man wearing a gray or navy blue hoodie, black pants and white sneakers could be seen using his cell phone camera to look into two vehicles that were in the driveway.

Police said that while surveilling the vehicles, the suspect used a red folder to cover his face. The man did not get access to the vehicles, which were locked, and no items were reported missing. Officers canvassed the area to search for the man without success. The incident remains under investigation.
